Barbara Stuber Bio

screen grab barbBarb has sold her first young adult novel, Crossing the Tracks, to Karen Wojtyla, executive editor at Margaret K. McElderry, a division of Simon and Schuster, due for release in 2010. She also has both fiction and non-fiction accepted for publication in CRICKET MAGAZINE. Barb is represented by Ginger Knowlton of Curtis Brown Ltd., a New York based literary agency representing writers since 1914.

When not writing, Barbara is an art museum docent, drawing inspiration for her characters and honing details of setting and plot from the museum’s vast resource of portraits, landscapes and sculpture.  

 Barbara lives in Kansas City with her family, about two hours from the good folks of Wellsford, Missouri.

    I love your synopsis of “Crossing The Tracks.” I am pre-ordering it for family this Christmas. It will be a fun mid-summer surprise for them. I can’t wait to open my own copy… Perhaps I am forever a “young adult”…
